Fall Career & Internship Fair
September 28 / 3:30 – 7:30pm
Virtual Option via Handshake
September 29 – 30 / 3:30 – 7:30pm
In-Person at Gordon Dining & Event Center
The Career & Internship Fair connects over 3,000 students with a wide range of employers and is open to all enrolled students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, plus recent alumni who graduated within the past two years. Regardless of major, degree level or College, all are welcome to attend and take advantage of the opportunities presented at the Fair.
Presented by SuccessWorks at the College of Letters, the School of Human Ecology, and the Wisconsin School of Business.
To make the most of the Fair, Employers have the option to register for the virtual Fair, plus one day of the in-person Fair on campus. Due to limited space, employers will not be able to register for both in-person Fair days.
Registration will remain open until each event is full, or two weeks before date of the fair. Please note attendance for most of our virtual fairs will not exceed 75 companies per Fair. Early registration is highly encouraged. A Handshake account is required for all Fairs.
To ensure the safety of the UW-Madison community and visitors, all students and employees must share proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or be required to test weekly on campus (effective August 30).
This requirement does not apply to employer visitors. However, all students, employees and visitors to campus are required to wear masks when inside campus buildings. This rule applies to the in-person Career & Internship Fair dates.
In-Person Career Fair Policies
Capacity limits are currently in place for Gordon Dining and Event Center. Employers may up to two representatives present for the in-person Career Fair.
Social distancing will be required. To facilitate distancing we ask that employers only bring items that can be displayed on a table or that will take up minimal floor space. Items such as sound systems, light displays, and any items that cannot be carried in should not be brought.
Grab and go food items will be provided; however there will not be an employer lounge/dining area. Representatives should eat at their assigned table.
Masks are required for all students, employees, employers and other visitors to campus.
These protocols and policies may change as campus and local guidelines are updated. Please check this page for updates, and contact a member of the Career Fair Planning Team with questions about the in-person Fall Career and Internship Fair.
Some schools and colleges at UW-Madison will offer on-campus interviewing opportunities; check this space for updates or contact us for more information.
Other Recruitment Opportunities
Career Fairs are built to connect employers with students looking for internships and full-time degree-seeking job opportunities. Those wishing to promote part-time positions or on-campus student employment are encouraged to post to the Student Job Center.
Only recruiting Engineering students? You may consider attending the College of Engineering Career Fairs.
Have questions about the Fair? Contact one of our presenting school and college representatives and we’ll be happy to assist.
